Do you provide support? Yes, I always make sure any bugs are worked out, as well as questions you might have. I do this either over the phone, by email, or in person if circumstances permit. Is my data confidential? Absolutely. The privacy and integrity of your data is of paramount concern to me. This can be worked out in a way that is comfortable for you. Will my database support multiple users? Yes, definitely. Microsoft Access is designed to be used on a network. What if I'm not exactly sure what I want? That's not a problem. Through the consultation process I will ask pointed questions and will be able to interpret your needs, from a software developer's perspective. Can I continue to upgrade the software as I grow? Yes, that is the best thing about a Microsoft Access database- it is very flexible and will always be upgradable. How long will it take? Most databases take me 1 to a few week's time, depending on complexity. What if something happens to you? God forbid, but if it does you are not up a creek. I do not 'lock' the database and pull out the code. You can always get to your data and have someone else work on it, if desired. Is it hard to support long distance clients? Not at all. With internet capabilities there is no difficulty at all. I often deal with long distance clients for both new projects and support of completed ones. |
